JIS G3454-2017规定了温度高达约350°C的压力环境下使用的碳钢管（以下简称管道）。它不适用于高压环境下使用的管道。本标准涵盖的管道外径为10.5mm（公称直径6A或1/8B）至660.4mm（公称直径650A或26B）。
JIS G3454-2017 specifies the carbon steel pipes (hereafter referred to as pipes) used for pressure service at temperatures up to about 350 °C. It is not applicable to pipes for high pressure service. The pipes covered by this Standard are those of outside diameters 10.5 mm (nominal diameter 6A or 1/8B) to 660.4 mm (nominal diameter 650A or 26B).
Carbon Steel JIS G 3454 Tubes are manufactured as per JIS Specification. CS JIS G3454 Seamless Tubes mechanical properties can be varied greatly by heat treating. Carbon Steel JIS G3454 Specification Covers Carbon steel tubes for machine structural purposes. CS JIS G3454 pipes are used for pressure conditions at an limited of maximum temperature of 350 Degree C.

The tubes shall be manufactured by seamless process, electric resistance welding process, or butt welding process, and those of other grades shall be manufactured by seamless process or electric resistance welding process. The tube shall be as manufactured or as cold-finished condition, or they shall be subjected to appropriate heat treatment.
管子应采用无缝工艺、电阻焊工艺或对接焊工艺制造，其他等级的管子应采用无接缝工艺或电阻焊工艺制造。管子应为制造状态或冷加工状态，否则应进行适当的热处理。
The tubes shall be practically straight. and the two ends shall be at right angles to the axis of the tube. The tubes shall be free from defects detrimental to practical use.
管子应几乎笔直。两端应与管子轴线成直角。管子应无不利于实际使用的缺陷。

Note (2) The expression "same dimensions" means the same outside diameter as well as the same wall thickness.

Marking标记
Each pipe having passed the inspection shall be marked with the following items. However, the smaller pipes or other pipes specified by the purchaser may be bundled together and marked for each bundle by a suitable means. In both cases, the order of arranging the marked items is not specified.
每根通过检验的管道应标记以下项目。但是，较小的管道或买方指定的其他管道可以捆绑在一起，并通过适当的方式标记每捆。在这两种情况下，都没有指定标记项目的排列顺序。
When approved by the purchaser, a part of the items may be omitted.经买方批准后，可以省略部分项目。

The letter symbol indicating the manufacturing processes(3) shall be as follows, provided that the dash may be omitted leaving a blank.
表示制造工艺（3）的字母符号应如下，但破折号可以省略，留下空白。
